This is not a tablet, it's more like a gigantic phone or a Chromebook.

If you were hoping to buy this to replace your tablet, don't bother. It's big. Really big! This is good for some applications, like painting, but for most people I garantee that the size will be too large. This isn't the only problem. While the tablet itself is thin and relatively light for it's size, with the addition of the keyboard cover, this tablet begins to approach the weight of a regular laptop. However this tablet is not more productive than a laptop. It is well known that the Android OS has never been optimized to work on tablets. It feels like every app I open takes up far too much screen space and the text is unnecessarily large. I haven't downloaded or installed many apps yet so I haven't run into the problem of apps not rotating. But it's a known issue even when using Dex. The tablet is too large and heavy, even with only the magnetic back attachment, to hold in your hand. You will definately need two hands to hold it if you don't want to accidentally drop this expensive device. That makes it difficult to use this device without resting it down on some flat surface, like a table. The kickstand on the back cover isn't the most stable thing and the hinge for the keyboard cover isn't as rigid as on a laptop so it's difficult to keep the screen in position. Battery life on this device is very short because the large screen drains alot of power. It's very annoying that Samsung doesn't include a compatible fast charger especially since the use of "unauthorised" chargers can void the warranty. Using any other type of charger takes an impossibly long time.The best part about this tablet is the Spen which works great. You can use it to write in any field, and the handwriting recognition works well. I mainly wanted this tablet for notetaking but the S8 or S8+ would probably have worked just as well and been easier to use in terms of size. In general this is a good device with ok cameras, great screen and nice stylus with some bonus productivity features and gimics but it cannot beused as a tablet and I think Samsung should put this device in a separate device category.
